Masseria Cultura is a non profit cultural and social promotion association founded in Puglia in May 2019 by a group of young Italian artists who believe in the values of culture as the backbone of the future of humanity.
Currently the association is managed by Jacques Leo & Fabrizia Franco, always present in the creation and supervision of educational and artistic activities and always looking for new ideas and proposals.
Fabrizia & Jacques are extremely sensitive to environmental, sustainable and ecological issues, also promoting a vegetarian diet with the products they themselves grow in the organic land that the Masseria has.
The association offers itself to the public as a new multifunctional cultural center in Southern Italy, where its members can take advantage of artistic and educational workshops suitable for all ages.
Masseria Cultura launches, every six months, an Open Call for the Art Residences thanks to which artists, from all over the world ,will have the opportunity to live a unique experience in contact with nature, bringing and generating an immense value for the territory.
The mission is, in fact, to bring contemporary art and cultural activity outside the cities, restoring the historical, architectural and landscape heritage of the farm.
Masseria Cultura's team, work with the constant support of Workaway volunteers from all over the world, who collaborate for restorations and ordinary maintenance work.
All the members of the Masseria work to create new places of exchange and artistic production that will allow artists to meet and work in inclusive and choral contexts, inspired by history, people and the surrounding nature.
