Botanical dyeing laboratory on vegetable fibers

The course will be led by Martina Bellomi, Kundalini Yoga teacher with a training in Tibetan Bell and Botanical Tinctures and

Fabrizia Franco,  graduate in Communication, founder of the A.P.S. Masseria Cultura and curator of all the laboratories.

Dyeing fabrics with roots, stems, leaves and flowers is a very ancient art, born from a deep connection with nature.

During the workshop we will see together the various stages for dyeing vegetable fibers such as linen and cotton.

Through a long alchemical process of fabric preparation, color extraction and dyeing, we will be able to rediscover the value of waiting and the slow rhythms of nature.

We will learn to work with plants, to know their benefits and to relate to the magic and unpredictability of the plant world.
